10th Annual Civil War Camporee from October 10-12, 2014 at the Allegany County Fair Grounds, Angelica, NY. In the past, 652 has made it a day on Saturday to learn and have fun at the camporee but for 2014 we'd like to camp.
Camporee
It’s the 4th Year of the five year rememberance and the 11th Camporee. Yes, come out and remember our History, October 10th, 11th and 12th. Everyone’s a winnerthat attends the Annual Boy Scout Civil War Camporee. Last year set all kinds of attendance records. We had over 500 Scouters from 50 units and three different councils. Some came as far away as Boston Massachusetts.
This year all of the battles will take place downtown again and the Soldiers will also be camping downtown.
The boys will be Downtown again most of the day Saturday. Allegheny Highlands Council will have ten stations set-up for the boys to learn just what it was like back in the day. We will also have our own battle in the afternoon.
New this Year
New this year, we will be offering two Merit Badges back at the campgrounds and unbelievable Saturday Evening Program will take place. Yes to celebrate our tenth year, we will be having one hum dinger of a Saturday Night Party.
Cub Scouts
According to the council, Cub Scouts are welcome to come visit the downtown area on Saturday. The 652 Troop and Pack hung out at last years camporee. Bring your siblings and friends if you'd like!

Check out some of the photos that the Troop & Pack took at the 2013 camporee. 652 visited artisans, ate food from the ground (nuts), rocked out with a band, ate food that wasn't on the ground(lots of food vendors) and watched re-enactors battle and blast cannons.
