It's fast approaching, the new year with your Units (Troops & Venture Crews). In order to provide a quality program for your Units this year, each Unit is requested to do a little homework for the upcoming year & send someone to represent your Troop at the annual Fall Western Gate Picnic.
I am sure most of you do some sort of Planning for your Units. By completing these requests, as a thank you, your Unit will be invited to receive a 25% discount for either the Civil War Camporee ( this year it's in October) or the Monster Mash Camporee.
Both are Super Boy Scout / Venture Crew age crowd pleasers!!, & a great way to kick off your Units 2014-2015 Scout Program!

This is where I found the Budget form, the JTE Score Card & the JTE worksheet ( search "JTE" in upper right corner search window). All of the requests for the Picnic are part of the JTE.
The Budget Worksheet should be a breeze. Just enter the #'s and it is all calculated for you...
As far as your 6 months of planning goes, most of you already have a printout you hand out to your scouts & your Parents / Leaders. Simply attach a copy of that to the form. No need to re-write it on the form. There are calendar templates, they are old would need to update them, but I did find links to Boys Life with Calendar templates, maybe theirs are newer....
